Returning to/Getting into College

September 2, 2014 By DegreeofFreedom in Filed Under: Cost of College

Having spent the last week dodging moving trucks parked next to weepy parents, it looks as though the 2014-2015 academic year has officially commenced.

With the new season, I plan to wrap up my Monday cost-of-college blog series shortly, although the experiment I’ve been running in the newsletter regarding how to pay for college seems to have struck a chord with subscribers.

I guess it’s not surprising that so many people are interested in some “just-get-to-the-point” advice on how to get into and pay for a traditional college education (whether or not they are considering alternatives). So for those who are not signed up for Degree of Freedom news (subscription form to the right, BTW), here are the three parts to that series so far:

What Will Your Kids’ College Bill Actually Be? (July 18, 2014)

Strategy 1 – Saving for College (August 1, 2014)

Developing the Right College “Purchasing” Mindset (Today)

Next up in the newsletter: The Financial Aid Process.

And next up on the blog: An announcement you’ll just have to wait for.
