Updates – HuffPo and Coursera Blogs

March 30, 2013 By DegreeofFreedom in Filed Under: MOOC Providers

First off, my latest Huffington Post piece is up, highlighting some of the “Sources for Courses” discussion that’s been going on here on the blog all week.

Secondly, the folks at Coursera have been kind enough to let me post to their blog on a semi-regular basis.  Since Degree of Freedom is looking at MOOCs and other free-learning experiences from a range of perspectives, I’ll be focusing any writing I do over there specifically on how students can maximize their success with these new learning resources.

Thirdly (is that a word?), on Monday I’ll be starting a week-long series on the various roles time plays in the world of self-propelled education.

And speaking of time, there’s still time to sign up for the Degree of Freedom News which includes course reviews, updates and other info not published on the site.  Drop your e-mail in the sign up box on the right to get the next issue when it comes out on Monday.

Which reminds me, I’ve got to write the darn thing.  So see you next week.
