Earlier this year, I published something at EdSurge on what educators working in K-12, higher education and professional/online training can learn from one another in order to improve practice when teaching remotely. This was part of an effort to provide front-line teachers resources (including this free online course) to support their vital work.
That EdSurge piece focused on lecturing and, following up, I wrote two additional pieces in that series, one on classroom discussion, one on assessment, that I’ve been sharing with different educational communities.
It dawned on me when I shared them with a group of philosophy professors at last week’s APA conference that I forgot to share all of them on this site, something I will now rectify:
Teaching Remotely 1 – Lecturing
Teaching Remotely 2 – Discussion
Teaching Remotely 3 – Assessment
Feel free to use and share.
