On this week’s podcast, I interview Jeff Young, Senior Technology Editor at the Chronicle of Higher Education.
The Chronicle has been covering the MOOC story since it inception, and has served as the (even-handed) platform where debates about the massive open online course phenomenon have played out. And as Senior Technology Editor for the go-to source for higher ed news, Jeff provides important perspective on how we should be looking at stories related to MOOCs and forms of technology-based learning
Note: The MOOC timeline Jeff refers to in the interview can be found here.

Dear Dr. Haber:
Thank you very much for the link. It is marvelous to see the quite complete image of MOOC platform.
Most of all, I really treasure your expertise, experience and wisdom in doing business that you bless me with through my reading your blogs.
I was born with the natural business mindset to understand the simple principle in greed and ego. Yes, regardless of races, educational background, and years in experiences in doing business, people will eventually fall for scams due to greed (power and privilege) and ego (FOMO or fear of missing out).
However, your blog has presented all scenarios very logical, meaningful and scientifically and statistically.
In conclusion, the consequence of poisonous air, water and land in China, and Vietnam is the best example of the importance of knowledge in Higher Education in term of humanity in Leadership.
Very respectfully yours,
May King
